This past weekend I had my very first live reading at Apotheosis Comics and Lounge. I can't even describe how nervous I was! I had visions of myself shaking so badly that no one would be able to understand what I was saying. I practiced with reading to Daphne for days before the event. I was also lucky enough to have We Rock The Spectrum sponsor my event and donate a really cool gift basket as an attendance prize to one lucky winner! The day of the reading came, I was as prepared as I could be. I was hoping for at least five people to be there for me to read to and so many more came. I couldn't believe it. I took a deep breath and did my best. It was a great experience and I hope everyone who attended had fun. Congratulations to Kim for winning my basket! She also sent me a message letting me know her daughter is loving the book so far. Thank you again for all your support and encouragement.
